The I.V. Ramblers

The I.V. Ramblers are a local Folk band from the Imperial Valley, California.

The band started out decades ago as The Jugless Jug Band led by  Nan Rebik. When Nan moved out of state in  2022, the remaining band members (Don Simon, Tom Barkhust, Doug Newlan and Dan Grummett) decided to regroup adding Sheri Huerta to the lineup. Mark Hurych joined shortly afterwards and The I.V. Ramblers were born.

The I.V. Ramblers have performed throughout the Imperial Valley playing traditional and modern folk music, Irish and Celtic songs and many other genres of music. 

The band members include Don Simon on harmonica and vocals; Doug Newland on banjo, Ukulele and percussion as well as handling our sound tech; Tom Barkhust on fiddle; Sheri Huerta on guitar and vocals; Mark Hurych on guitar, vocals, and other instruments and Dan Grummett on drums, harmonica, keyboard and vocals. 

We are an acoustic orientated band. Our most recent gigs included performing traditional folk and bluegrass songs for a UC Farm Smart event and for a Pioneers Day event at a local museum   and performing Irish folk music for a St. Patrick's Day dinner. We also perform modern folk, country, rock and blues.
